Our limits
We don't do new garage construction or structural framing - if you're adding a bay to the house, call a contractor first and bring us in once the opening is framed and ready for a door.
We also don't take on conversions; turning a garage into living space isn't our trade. On repair calls, if a door is old enough that the manufacturer doesn't make the panel or spring size anymore, we'll tell you straight instead of promising a part that takes weeks to source and still might not match.
A lot of the areas we run to have housing stock from the 1960s and 70s build-out, and some of those original doors used hardware nobody carries on the shelf anymore. When that's the case, replacement makes more sense than chasing parts, and we'll say so instead of running up a bill on a repair that won't hold.
We also won't promise a truck is already on the way when it isn't - if a spring lets go on a weekend night, we'll get you on the schedule, but we're not going to fake urgency we can't back up.
